Baroque Music
Recent years have seen an elevated interest in Baroque music, not just in Europe, but throughout the globe. Despite often being considered ‘elitist’, baroque and opera are indeed at the very root of music universality. The works of Claudio Monteverdi, Georg Friedrich Händel, Johann Pachelbel and Jean Sebastian Bach have unsuspectingly become part of our everyday life. Over the years, the genius of 17th and 18th century baroque music composers have become part and parcel of movies and advertisements. |
